About

I am a clinical social worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist, licensed in New York State. I am currently conducting in-person sessions in both Brooklyn and Manhattan with adolescents and adults. I graduated from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, and my career as a clinician has included crisis intervention, community mental health, and private practice.

I have completed an intensive psychoanalytic psychotherapy program at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis and Psychology, have studied at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis, and am currently a candidate in adult psychoanalysis at the William Alanson White Institute.

My experience and interests are in the areas of trauma, the psychological effects of systemic racism and other forms of oppression, recovery from substance use, depression, and anxiety. I also work with many whose symptoms do not fall neatly into a category but who come to therapy because they are unhappy, unfulfilled, confused, and/or struggle with the experience of a shaky or hollow sense of self.
